This study aimed to analyze the bile acid patterns in commercially available oxgall powders used for evaluation of the bile tolerance ability of probiotic bacteria.

Dehydrated ox bile ,used is preparation of microbiological culture media as a selectively inhibitory agent.It inhibits bacteria not growing in enteric environment and favours growth of enteric microorganisms.
