The present invention provides process of preparing EDTA disodium salt. The process includes the following steps: 1. mixing ethylene diamine and sodium hydroxide and heating, dropping hydroxyl acetonitrile within 5 hr, reaction after finishing dropping for at least 30 min until releasing ammonia completely; 2. adding EDTA to regulate pH value to 5-6;
