2-Ethylhexylamine is used as an intermediate to manufacture agricultural chemicals, rubber chemicals, pharmaceuticals, surfactants, polymerization auxiliaries, plastic additives, dyes, insecticides, flotation agents, corrosion inhibitors, paint additives, detergents, fuel additives, and lubricant additives.
2-EHA is 2-Ethylhexanol, an oxo alcohol based on Propene (steamcracker C3 value chain). 2-EHA is used to produce fuel markers and fuel additives, tencides and detergents, coatings and paints additives for pharmaceuticals and crop protection chemicals.
